The Research Center for Communications and Information Technology (ReCCIT) was established in 1997 with academic and financial supports from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) of the government of Japan in order to advance research in the fields of communication and information technology. Since its inauguration, ReCCIT has been the spearhead in providing high quality research and graduate students, which has resulted in a large number of graduates and international publications. ReCCIT comprises 14 research laboratories including Office of the director, Department of research and development, and Department of training and technology transfer.
